Draft placeholder. This page will be reviewed and finalised before Tickaboard launches.
Tickaboard is used by children, so we built it to need almost nothing from them. This notice is for parents and carers, and is written to meet Google Play's Families policy and children's privacy laws such as the Australian Children's Online Privacy Code, the UK Age Appropriate Design Code and the US COPPA rule.
Parents are in charge
- Only a parent or carer aged 18 or over can create a family. Kids never create an account, sign in or give an email address.
- Everything about a child is entered by a parent: a first name or nickname, a hero, and the quests and rewards the parent sets up.
- Settings, rewards and approvals sit behind a grown-up gate on the family tablet.
What we never do
- No ads, and no advertising or tracking SDKs, anywhere in the app.
- No chat, messaging, social features or links out to the web from the kids' screens.
- No precise location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone access.
- No selling or sharing of children's information, and no profiling of children.
Deleting a child's information
A parent can remove a child from the family in the app at any time, which deletes that child's name, hero, quests and stars. To delete the whole family, use the app or email [email protected].
